UNFLAPPABLE PA

I have been in the administrative profession for the last 22 years. I guess you could say that I am something of a magpie in that I am always looking for new quick wins, tips and technologies to help me in my role.  The internet has made everything so much easier, if you don't have an answer then Google will have one.  

 

I am passionate about encouraging others to recognise that they are not "just" a secretary or administrative professional, but a professional in their own right.  There are learning opportunities out there at the end of your fingers, all you have to do is find your voice, find your support group, and I promise you will never look back.

 

I encourage you all to find your voice, network, develop yourselves and keep learning new skills to take you forwards in your careers.

Outside of work I am heavily involved in the equestrian world and have a passion for long-distance riding.  I have two horses of my own and I am a member of the Board of Directors of Endurance GB, www.endurancegb.co.uk which is the National Governing Body for competitive long-distance horse riding in the UK.  

I hold the position of Director of Groups and I'm directly responsible for ensuring that our 23 national Groups are engaged, motivated and able to provide a fantastic range of fun activities for all our members and non-members alike.
